Loch Lothian 5K and 10K: February 10, 2018
Loch Lothian Course
The Loch Lothian 5K course will take you though some incredible scenery right in the heart of Midlothian. The course begins and ends at Midlothian Middle school and runners will run on roads, sidewalks, paths, bridges, and trails in a unique and varied course. Along the way runners will be exposed to scenery including Loch Lothian, the Midlothian Mines ruins, replica mining headstock, and miles of trails. There will be three events in this year's Loch Lothian race: a 5K, a 10K, and a team-based relay. Walkers are welcome on the 5K. The team relay will have teams of 3 runners who will work together to run the 10K. Each runner will run approximately 2 miles of the course and will pass off a baton to the next runner at the end of their leg.
